Monday..Blue and Mellow Yellow

MellowYellowMondayBadge

Postcards from the heart..
Christmas just brings out the best in family and friends..
Mine are no exception...
they love sharing photos of favorite places in their part of the world..
knowing the artist/photographer in me will be delightfully envious..
from old Navy friends in Maine..

From Margo,Sister of the heart and sea in sunny Florida..
snowflake decorations hanging on Live-oak trees along the coast..

Dockside of  moonrise..
with this message:

REMEMBER THE ECLIPSE OF THE FULL MOON MONDAY NIGHT
/TUESDAY MORNING!!!
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1638....
4 CENTURIES AGO!!!...THAT WE'LL
HAVE A TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE WINTER SOLSTICE MOON.
I PLAN ON BEING OUTSIDE TO SEE SOME OF IT....
BETWEEN 1:40 am AND 2:40 am (CST)
SET YOUR CLOCK AND GET UP TO SHOOT IT!!
IT'LL BE WORTH YOUR LACK OF SLEEP AND BRAVING THE CHILL.
The moon will have a reddish glow to it.

And finally, my contribution:
The City and County Building of Denver..
all lit up in Christmas lights..

Have yourself a delightful week of discoveries....

  3. Hi Lou,
For whatever reason, the first three pictures do not come through on my computer. The last one is pretty and colorful! Hope your Christmas is the best ever!

  5. I really like the sandman in the first photo, and the pictures of the snow on the hills around you!

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
