  1. It's spam. "Anonymous" is trying to drive traffic to that "Welcome December" link at the end of the comment -- you may want to go back in to edit this post to eliminate that link, because you have included it -- anyone who clicks on it will go to that website. Which could be innocent enough, but also might not be.

Since I won't add a "captcha" scrambled-word feature to my comments on my blog, I have resorted to not allowing any comments from "Anonymous." This means my own daughter can't comment -- but so be it. There was just too much spam coming through.

Blogger's spam filter used to work.
    Not anymore.
I recommend you just block "anonymous" comments of the spam is an issue for you.
    Hope this helps!

  2. Thanks my friend..
have been so busy of late with little to no time for my blog!
went back over all the spam posts by A..they've linked to all the blogs I comment on ..thought I'd already effectively restricted WHO can comment..
will go back and do so again immediately!

  3. Hi Loui, I was going to suggest that you enable comment moderation-so that you have to approve the comments and anonymous people can't comment. It is hard-my daughter can't comment on mine anymore but so worth it to avoid the spam.
    Good luck.

  4. YES! I get several of these a day on various older posts. I mark them as spam and they are deleted. They usually have their link included at the end. I'm not going to include any of such comment to be published if I can help it. I have thought about going to my settings and not allowing any comments from Anonymous, but that will also keep some others from commenting. I think I might try it for a while anyway.

  5. I've run into the same problem lately - obviously Google's spam blocker isn't working as well as before. I always moderate comments but guess I too will need to also resort to blocking anonymous also. A shame because I have several non-blog friends who sometimes comment and this will block them.

Happy Spring dear - may your days be sunny and bright.

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
