Funny how time flies..
Just a year ago,I'd just returned from Florida to cure my doldrums..
My sis calls it "seasonal, situational depression"..
more adequately described as extreme lack of liquid Vitamin D!
after many days of beaches..
and early morning walks ..
with camera of course..
my return to Denver was welcomed by Spring herself..
Of course,at the earliest opportunity,out I went..
armed with camera, comfortable walking shoes, and WATER!
There is a secret garden which is a favorite of mine..
much easier to photograph before leaves obscure my vantage point..
Birdhouses await arrivals..
Oops..looks like this one has tumble from it's perch..
This bench is usually surrounded by colorful flowers,,still a bit early.
In another corner, another antique white iron bench, sans cushions....
I spied them, hidden from view, these cuties were nearly missed..
Easter signals the time to put on our favorite white finery..right?
So imagine my surprise this morning, when I opened the drapes..
and discovered this view from my office.. this fella seemed to be saying..
WHAT GIVES?
view from my desk..overlooking my neighbor's roof..a 50 yr old silver maple..all snowy!
my backyard, snow covered apple tree...
so indoors I'll stay, while the sunshine melts the snow away..
dreaming of sunshiny early morning walks..more beachy days to come..
Please hop, skip, stroll on over to these wonderful sites to see more beautiful offerings!
Warmest hugs..Laughing smiles..Loui♥

I can't believe y'all had snow again! Of course, I just heard it is supposed to get cold here again! What's with this winter???
ReplyDeleteLove your garden and the squirrel, adore the beach scene -- snow -- well to me it is lovely but give me the sunshine please, it is so rainy here in the North West cloudy all the time... nice to visit you when you can plant some flowers in your mile high city,,,love your banner too,

Gosh I think I need some more Vitamin D sunshine!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, and I enjoyed a quick trip to the beach with you. Your squirrel does look like he is trying to ask you something. Enjoy the beautiful weekend we have coming up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely stroll. The squirrel is too cute. It is so hard for me to imagine snow still being on the ground. Strange winter this year. If I could, I would send you a bit of our Florida sunshine.
