Wednesday, Watery, White, Outdoors, and Wordless

Still bitterly cold..
temps tonite will be even colder than those of last night..
somewhere 25 below!
todays high managed up to 1 degree..
and I believe that lasted for all of one minute!!
I ventured out the door just long enough to retrieve the mail..
otherwise, the felines all stay nestle in their respective beds..
I puttered....sorting, decluttering..
all nice and toasty INDOORS!

We're in the jailhouse now...

  2. I love the icicles on the birdhouse!!! That is so funny! We are getting the big storm now, and the snow is nothing out of the ordinary, but the wind is very strong!

  4. Love the birdhouse, but I am a big icicle fan. It's cold here in Minnesota, too but not below zero - stay warm - thanks for the photos.

  6. Us, Too, Sweetpea! Chris is out with the snow-blower right now, as we had several inches of plain old FLUFF falling all morning. The bad part is that it covers a 4" ice sheet beneath, and I'm afraid he'll slip and fall, or the hit of that almost-concrete with the blades will do him injury.

    You just can't tell 'em.

    Stay warm---we're almost in a heat-wave---29!!!

  7. My goodness, it is cold! We had lots of snow here in England at the end of last year - it felt as it would never go as it lasted weeks. Hopefully yours will clear away soon and you will feel the warmth of the sun again!

  8. Of course, we have no snow, but our weekend was gray and drizzly. Perfect for making a big pot of black-eyed peas and rice, washing about a ton of shells and watching movies.

I adore that pic of the icicles on the birdhouse, how cute is that?

Have a fabulous week my sister of the sea! I can't send you any Florida sunshine this week, but I can send you lots warming thoughts as I look for the blue skies to reappear. xoxoxoxoxoxox

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
