Wednesday..with and without words..

~White Wednesday

OutdoorWednesdaylogo554444

Three years of living in Newport Rhode Island gave me the opportunity to explore the seasonal beauty of the New England states. Having friends who lived in Maine  added to the fun. Many a weekend would be spent around the Portland area. Camping and bass fishing was high on the list of priorities.
Another favorite  fun thing for me was to visit the Portland Head Light at Cape Elisabeth. The towering structure has become a symbol of Maine. Looming high above the craggy coastline, it is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the states. Artists come from far and near to capture on canvas the beauty of this view.
It In all seasons, I never ceased to marvel at the beauty of the structures against the ocean vista.

  1. It is interesting to see a series of photos of the same subject across the seasons. And of course, the angles change, too, so we get to see all sides of the lighthouse. I love it!

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
