Six Word Saturday

My thoughts today..
as tarballs began washing ashore on Pensacola Beach..

today on Pensacola Beach.. business as usual..
crews kept the beaches clear of tar..

frolicking in the surf, getting sand between my toes..
just enjoying the beauty of it all , imprinting my soul..
am currently visiting in Panama City Florida..
Pensacola Beach, Florida, America
no oil in sight..fresh salty air..plenty of sunshine
Crystal Beach house rental - Sugar White Sand Beaches
and the perfect ending..another gorgeous sunset..
I really hate to think this is what many folks are choosing..
"Beachy paradise destroyed..
going home Wednesday!"
warmest sandy hugs..

  1. Ugh! We may have to give up our St. George plans aw well (in Aug.) I do hope most beaches stay clean!

  2. Olivia..
am praying your plans do not have to be cancelled..great strides are being done and taking place to avoid the oil and tarballs..
in the mean time, I am absorbing as much as possible of my native soil..the sparkling emerald waters..and that squeaky, sugary white sand!! the rest I am recording in countless photos..
I will share until everyone says ENOUGH!
    hugs..Loui♥

  3. Love your photos Loui! So very sad about the tar on your home beaches. :o(

May God keep the rest out to sea so it can be sucked up.

    HUGS girlfriend!!

  4. Welcome to my neck of the woods, Loui. PCB is an awesome beach as your lovely photos show. I hope & pray it stays that way (along with the rest of the coastline that hasn't been hit yet)

  5. I was watching on the evening news last night about the beaches. I hope they can get them cleaned up. What a pity to soil our beaches.

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
