Pink Saturday
Good News..and bad News..
First.. the BAD..
I'm really sad..
Had planned to do a post with some of my latest new roses..
Seeing the dewdrops glistening in the cool morning sunlight sent me scrambling for my camera..
Scurrying back outdoors, focusing on the newly opened blooms,..
click..nothing happened..
click again.. still nothing..
hurried back indoors for another freshly charged battery..
(these are NOT AA batteries..
but EXPEN$IVE Nikon Lithium batteries..)
click.. still nothing..
sadly..Nikon is being sent in for check-up, repair/servicing..
please keep my trusty companion in your prayers..
I know he is not that old..
but he has been in constant use since arriving in my eager little hands several years back..
fortunately, little Kodak is still operating just fine...
Good news is this...
I do have a few earlier photos of pretty pink posies that can be shared and enjoyed.
Believe it or not, these are Not Peonies..
but are... Tulips!!!
they were just so soft and delicate..
and the photos came out looking more like paintings..
I love them all!
My roses will be saved for another post...

Sorry to hear about your camera dilemma, Loui. I know how that goes.
ReplyDeleteThe imgages are gorgeous!
Oh, I'm sorry about your camera and hope it returns well and happy soon! I also use a Nikon and I know how expensive those batteries are. They do last for a long time though. I usually keep three around and now I'm down to one. Yesterday my daughter ask what I want for my birthday and I said a new battery for my camera. She laughed, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteThose are the most gorgeous tulips I've ever seen! I've never seen ones like those. With our heat we can't grow tulips here, so I'll enjoy yours.
Beachy Hugs
Those flowers are GORGEOUS! They look like the sun is shinning up thru the center of them!
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness! I've never seen this kind of tulip. They are absolutely stunning. I'm so glad you linked these beauties to Favorite Things Sat. (I hope your camera is fixable, and soon. I know I'd probably have a breakdown if my camera quit working!) Thank you for linking up. Have a great weekend. laurie
ReplyDeleteThat's not good about your camera. I hear you, and hope that it comes back soon. We are lost without our camera's, and our computers.
ReplyDeleteI need to send my Canon off to repair land, but they say it will take forever....it's summer, and I need my camera. So I chug along, babying it.
Your tulips are gorgeous, so pretty, and so pink.
Jen
No tulips here either, so seeing yours is a treat... so pretty when wide open.
ReplyDeleteJulia~
Gorgeous blooms...wow!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your camera. I would feel lost without mine. Hope the repair is quick and inexpensive.
Hugs,
Kat

The tulips are beautiful! Sorry about your camera troubles. Hope it all ends well.
ReplyDeleteHi Loui! Wow are they gorgeous flowers!! Hard to tell they are tulips. Like you said, so delicate.
ReplyDeleteTo Mr. Camera: Get well soon. You're lady needs you!
