Wednesday..with and without words..

OutdoorWednesdaylogo55~White Wednesday

Today's post is courtesy of my dear friend Gator Gal..
a fellow Floridian,
Photographer extraordinaire..
Living in the Gainesville area among Spanish moss laden live oaks and azaleas,
frequently with trusty camera sidekick, she heads eastward..
along the coastal route..
towards the sugary white sands and bluegreen waters of the Emerald Coast..
todays destination:
Panama City Beach..

"Panama City Beach is one of the world's most beautiful beaches,
with over twenty-seven miles of breathtaking,
unrivaled beauty along the Gulf of Mexico." GG

Panama City Beach
"Saturday started out as a Yellow Flag day. The wind was blowing from the East and Southeast and storm clouds were moving in from the East. In the meantime, the sky and water were absolutely stunning. An excellent day to visit the beach. The new City Pier is to the left." GG

Panama City Beach - She's Got Legs
"The newly rebuilt City Pier - Russell-Fields Pier (City Pier) The Russell-Fields Pier, also known as the City Pier, opened to the public July 4th 2009 and is located on Front Beach Road across the street from Pier Park. ~ Panama City Beach ~ The original City Pier was destroyed during one of the Hurricanes some years back. If you happen to know which storm, please feel free to post the information."GG

  1. What a beautiful place...the colors are amazing!

  2. Oh I wish we had some pet friendly beaches around here. I have not found any as of yet. Lovely pics.

  3. Such sunshiney photos - makes me want to feel warm sand on my toes!

  4. Lovely colors, nice place ;)
    Have a nice week.

  5. The view below the pier is refreshing. Love the stark blues and whites!

  6. I love the ocean, but will settle for any form of water once warm weather hits!! They are great ph otos.

  7. Hi sweet friend. Wish you were here so we could walk with our feet in the sand and talk for a bit before we have lunch together.

    Next time.

  8. Thanks for entering my give-away! Have a great weekend.

  9. Loui,
Love that pic of crossing the little bride to the beach. just draws you in.

Thanks for the info on the fiesta ware.
I will check tha site out.
Guess I partly wonder too, what even the newer pieces are worth. they will probably have that.
I do so love the colors of these pieces.

  10. WOW!!!! Imagine my surprise when opening your blog to discover my gorgeous hometown! Yes, I am from Panama City. My parents and sisters family are still living there. Sigh...I miss my home being a military wife.
Thank you for showing the beautiful photos!
    Isn't it a stunning place.

Thank you for entering my giveaway as well. You are a great friend and I appreciate you.

    Blessings, ~Melissa :)

  11. Great photos! You make me want to go there right now even though I just had a vacation, lol!
    Bonnie :)

  12. I think that our beaches need some more "clean up after your pet" signs. Even though they are supposed to be pet free in the summer....well you know how that goes.

    Great shots.

  13. I loved these photos. I lived in Ft. Walton Beach, right up the road from Panama City, a long time ago so I know just how beautiful it is there. I would love to go back for a visit. I've seen lots of beaches around the world and none are as beautiful as these wonderful white sand beaches.

  14. I haven't heard that term petiquette before. It is cute.
This looks like a fun place to visit!

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
