Monday... Blue and Mellow Yellow..

San Juan Mountain Beauty

With more horrendously frigid weather descending upon us once again..
Tomorrow will be barely in the 20's as new snow comes blowing in with a vengance..
But Tuesday if we are lucky, the mercury might ascend the thermometer to a high of 0!
You are seeing correctly.. ZERO will be our high..
Temps  this severe and low was last seen in the mid 1990's.
By midweek we will again be languishing in normal temps of 35-40 degrees!..
I for one have had enough of the roller coaster of Winter..
As long as there is NO snow or cold,
Any of these destinations will suit me just fine..

To bury my toes in the sand while soaking the warm sun rays...

the most beautiful views in the world..

The water mesmerizes with continuous changes of the colors..

the sun creates  sparkling diamonds..

The only white stuff I want to be shoveling is sugary white beach sand on the Emerald Coast of Florida!

Natural beauty abounds..

And when day is done,
the curtain falls..
another lovely sunset....

I'll sleep and dream ..
NO MORE SNOW!!!

  2. I am so sorry you all have had such a rough winter. It's been chilly here, too, but I'm thankful that it's tolerable.

Those beach shots are just fantastic, Loui. I agree, the Emerald Coast is gorgeous. Hope you can visit again soon.

    Happy Blue Monday...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  4. See, this is exactly what I mean when I tell you that I always picture you on the beach, not in the mountains and especially not during winter!

Our weekend was glorious and I do believe I heard the Gulf calling your name…come home Loui, come home.

With that weather forecast, brrr…, I'm sending you an extra dose of Florida sunshine, so bundle up, stay inside, light the fire and dream that you're sitting on the beach, sipping a mojito and watching the waves lap the shore.

  6. It's certainly been a bad one for some. I am sorry, maybe, just maybe next year will be a little better. It's got to be over soon, at least that's my hope. Meanwhile live in those vacation photos, and remember the sand.

where time is not measured..
