Randomness prevails..
the song God Bless America spins through my mind..
as I scroll through photos taken since coming to Colorado six years ago.
"from the mountains...
well..
I had planned on majestic snow covered mountains..
white aspen trees with soft green leaves..
to the prairies....
white Columbines..
to the oceans, white with foam..
against my sugary white sandy beaches of home..
crashing waves..
leaving foam on the shoreline...
..me in a RED swimsuit..
walking the shore..
searching for white sand dollars...
God bless America...
My home
dewy white roses...
sweet home...
my white cup of yumminess..
inscribed..
Life is good!!!
But Blogger has betrayed me..
again!
(I tried the suggestion of using html,to no avail!)
somehow the pic above was all I could manage..
hopefully, SOON Blogger will have the problems fixed..
or will be seeing a mass exodus led by yours truly!

I was able to load my pics using HTML, but I agree - Blogger may have a mass exodus coming soon with all the problems lately!
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I love your pictures! Also looked thru your Botanical Garden pics below. You are a gifted photographer! Breathtaking!
I was raised in Colorado Springs, just south of Denver! My parents are still there, so I get back at least once a year. I hope you are enjoying the majestic mountains and all they have to offer. A little different than the sands of Florida! Each beautiful in their own ways! All this to say, I will be stopping back often!
Happy WW Hugs!

I got lucky as I had loaded my photos for my post before blogger fell apart. I am glad you did manage to upload your photos as they are quite amazing. The first photo of the beach is wonderful, your shot of the mountains is so beautiful and that photo of the aspen trees is something I'd be happy to put on my wall. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteWonderful work!!
ReplyDeleteNow when I see your name I can just see the 2 of us barefooted. You really gave us a lovely collection of shots today. They are all stunning. I love the processing you did on those first ones. I experiment with PSE9, but I always wimp out from posting them. I really like yours. Genie

you must have fixed it...Your pictures are beautiful. I had the same problem this week. I am glad they fixed it, but the html did work for me. Hope you will come by and see my new find. Blessings, Debbie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - oh to be on the beach looking for sand dollars, instead of here in hot, humid, WET NY! LOL! I came by via Susan's party, but I missed it myself. I took pics of my pergola all dressed up this afternoon (with the 2 hour lull in the rain), and I REALLY hope you'll stop by and take a peak, and let me know what you think of the progress! :)
ReplyDeletexo,
A
Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm still having problems with my photos! It's been taking me twice as long as usual to do my posts, they're chock full of pictures!
Yesterday's made me think of you... mermaids galore! Seems to be a common theme this year... ;o)
Beautiful photos Loui!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you are doing well :-)
