Blue Monday

The past few months have been rough..
My younger brother was diagnosed with cancer in  early June..
his fight/battle ended on August 6, 2013.
It is my firm belief that if one utilizes the screening tools for early detection, one can avoid, if not be  cured of this cursed and dreaded disease. Because he had not put any wishes into writing, I as his Power of Attorney made decisions for his care and final commital..
Fortunately, due to skilled and compassionate nursing care, his final days were comfortable and pain-free. His son and former wife were with him during those last breaths..
A Viet Nam veteran, he now rests at Barrancas National Cemetery located at NAS Pensacola Florida..

  4. What a great tribute to your late brighter. It is hard to understand after all these years, they cannot find a earlier detection of this and cure. Your photos of this National Cemetery are great.

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
