Issues..and resolutions?

Dear Blogger friends..
am having terrible issues with blogger..
until these are  resolved..
I apologize for the crazy posts being viewed/
or not viewable..
Hopefully this will whet your appetite for some of the visual treasures I've captured for sharing..
she was so stunning, but the shop owner absolutely forbade my entrance into her shop with the camera..fortunately, she could NOT deter me from snapping this OUTSIDE shot..
albeit a bit hard to discern..
the mermaid herself as well as the egret, was made of  bronze, with enameled scales.
Clear, iridescent glass bubbles surrounded her as willow fronds and tiny roses dripped from above..
really a beautiful window display..
to be continued...

  1. Ah she is well worth getting a scolding. What is with shop owners? I have been told to leave many times, and that's just after asking if I could take a photo, I never do without permission. Don't retailers understand that this is all good advertising?

There are a few other bloggers having some difficulties also, I hope that yours clears up soon.

  2. I had the same experience at a shop in New Orleans. It felt like she thought I was casing the joint to rob it.
    I love the photo!!!

  3. Hi Loui,
I am sorry you are having blogger troubles. I hope it clears up soon!
I think everyone gets chastised for taking photos when they aren't supposed to. I love when they have concerts at Red rocks and it says absolutely no cameras and then you see about 5000 people taking pictures. How are they going to stop that?
The mermaid is beautiful, even through the glass!
It was good to hear from you!

  4. Hi sweet friend!

Gosh, I've had fun catching up with you tonight. Wow...you took some incredible photos girlfriend.
It seems like FOREVER since I've had time to just read blogs and enjoy myself. Between our two weeks in California and then having two grandsons here for Spring Break, I seem to have gotten myself behind. Not anymore though. I'm BAAAACK!

    Hugs,
    Kat

  5. I bet it is gorgeous, too bad I can not see the whole thing. Since you have a mermaid blog, I would like to share one of my mermaid posts with you. I too live mermaids!

  6. Hi Loui,

I agree with the others, these shop keepers should get on the blog bandwagon and realize how many of us share shopping tips via the blogosphere with our pictures. I always ask first and most people have been cool I wish the others realized what amazing advertising this is for them and how it is seen worldwide by all of us beachbloggers and coastal lifestyle lovers.

Either way, great job on the capture. I can see why you wanted to snap this pic.

    warm hugs from cali.

  7. Oh my gosh, that is the most beautiful mermaid I have ever seen!

I'm with everyone else on those shop owners who don't want photos taken. If I knew where this was, I would drop in her store when I'm up that way. She she lost a potential customer already!

  8. I can't wait to see ALL 2500 of your Florida photos, that should keep you busy until the next time you come my way!!!!

I'm so glad you had such a wonderful visit and I say it rained when you left because we're going to miss you in these parts.

I really am looking forward to the post about your son. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm looking forward to them all, I've missed you my sister of the sea and while physically you're further away now, it's nice to have you back in Blogland!!!

    Hugs

welcome to my world of salty sunkissed breezes..
where time is not measured..
linger leisurely..
sift sugary white sand between your toes..
Make and take those wonderful memories..
leaving behind..only your footprints...
