Mondays are always my favorites with Blues and yellows..
followed by Wednesday with fun, outdoorsy stuff. often centered around water..
This week, however, the blues have held me captive..
indoors..
as chilly rainy/snowy mix fell from the sky..
seemed endless..
and my mood plummeted..
trying my best to escape the grasp of blues..
started editing photos..
of my Florida trip..
two whole weeks of sunshiney bliss..
spent with family and dear sweet friends..
laughing and smiling until my jaws literally ached...
aaaah!
But..
in between these cold April showers...
I did manage to shoot a few luscious flowers...
so please accept my apologies ..
and enjoy my flowers instead!!!
Have a beautiful Wednesday wherever you may be!

Wonderful photos, love the sunset boat shot. And all the gorgeous flowers. Cool capture of the rain shower. Great series, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI really, REALLY want to become a mermaid now!!! No housework?!! My kinda gal.
ReplyDeleteLove all your photo shares. And I especially enjoyed viewing the rains...here where I am we're in a drought.
Here's my Watery Link for the day:
Skipping Rocks Sculpture and Fountain
Have a super duper day!!!
How dare Mother Nature rain on your parade! I'll have to speak with her about that! Perhaps she'd telling you that you should have stayed in Florida for a bit longer. Then I could have met you all at the Mermaid Cafe, where we would sip tropical cocktails and I could join in the laughter.
ReplyDeleteSeriously my seasister, I saw the flower pics on WU before I came here and after drooling over the rhododendron, I saw the delphinium and my jaw dropped! I wanted to rush right out and buy paper and some watercolors — now if I only knew how to paint! If you think I'm kidding, I'm not! My friend Sharon has been wanting to teach me and this photo is telling me, "Do it now." I love, love, love it!
I also love the painting of you and your sis on the wall, the one with the two land ladies standing beneath you.
Here's my song for you:
Rain, rain, go away
How dare you spoil my friend's day!
Hugs and Sunshine,
Shellbelle
PS....I had to come back after you left a comment for me....I grew up and raised my family just north of Denver in the foothills. Now it's relaxing at the beach for me for the rest of my days!!

ReplyDeleteI played too. Mine are here and here.
Hi sweet friend! I haven't been by lately...life has been crazy busy and there's no end in sight since I'll be gone for a long weekend and then my grandchildren will be here next week. Life is good though so I'm not complaining!
ReplyDeleteIt's been fun tonight catching up on your posts I've missed. Gosh, I wish I could have been in town when you were here, especially on the day you were with Donna! Next time, okay?
Hugs,
Kat
Hey girl,
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by. We dodged a bullet last night. Unfortunately so many didn't including many in my state. I can't imagine going thru that.
Love your pics. The flower blooms all look so soft. Hope you are doing well.
The mermaid pics in "your pics" are beautiful, do you sell them?
ReplyDeleteI'm a mermaid too! I'm really a Jersey girl living in Pittsburgh. Going to the beach in June! Sea glass here I come! Like your blog.
