CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN
Author Unknown
I see the countless Christmas Trees around the world below,
with tiny lights, like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear,
for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
but the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
for it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart,
but I am not so far away. We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me dear ones. You know I hold you dear,
and be glad I'm spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.
I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above.
I send you each a memory of my undying love.
After all Love is the gift, more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
for I can't count the blessings or love he has for each of you.
So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear.
Remember, I'm spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.
Oh, my goodness! That was the sweetest poem ever. I have many in heaven and I've always said that once we see Jesus, we'll never want to come back!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this. This has been a really tough year for deaths. In May alone, I have a connection to five families who lost loved ones - all young people. This is a good reminder for me that their celebration in heaven is even more glorious than ours on earth.
ReplyDeleteThis poem is so perfect that I copied the first two stanzas and may post in on my blog this month. If I do, I will link to your blog so folks will know where I found it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. My Dad who passed on 10 years ago always sang a solo in church - "Oh Holy Night". That is usually the point in any Christmas service where my family starts to tear up but in a happy way because the reality of where he is in Heaven & with King Jesus (not baby in a manger Jesus) is our constant Hope. Thanks for sharing. xo
ReplyDeleteWonderful poem and beautiful pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful, and also comforting to remember just where they all are.
ReplyDeleteWith tears in my eyes I read your beautiful Christmas poem.
ReplyDeleteThank you and may God Bless you and your family always,

Hi Loui,
ReplyDeleteRemember me another Pensacola girl!
That is a beautiful poem, I have seen it before,
but the sentiments bear repeating over and over.
Such good thoughts to remember, I was just thinking about my dad today, as his birthday is Dec. 15th and he will be spending his 18th b-day
with Jesus.
Hope you are doing well.
Merry Christmas,
Blessings, nellie
