Just one of the many reasons I LOVE Colorado..
Such tranquil outdoor beauty..
everywhere the eye can see..
The Master Artiste has done his job so beautifully..
Let's do a bit of touring by hopping aboard this red Chevy truck..
Let's do a bit of touring by hopping aboard this red Chevy truck..
Don't know where he's heading..but I'm sure we'll have some fun!
he's dressed for the holiday!!
below..daywear..
and now..after 5 attire!!
look at the old red barn!
what a beautiful snow covered sight!
Look at these beauties in their winter coats..
Posers for sure..
what a beauty!!
and out by the main road, a snow covered red barn MAILBOX!
Let's invite the postman in for a bit of warmth..
these are really delightful!!
Marshmallows dipped in chocolate, rolled in sugar,
and speared with a peppermint stick.
This would be good to put in hot chocolate!
what a pretty way to serve hot chocolate,,
in a dainty, delicate white china teacup!
Now I could go for this wreath..
white spray painted pinecones..
glittery blue leaves.. and a graceful white reindeer!
love the simplicity and elegance!
My idea of a fireplace. Decoration ...Perfection!!..
but check out the painting above..
looks like a springtime grove of Aspens.
I LOVE Aspens..their white bark intrigues me to no end!!
what a beautifully decorated Christmas tree!!
White snowflakes..and white lights..so much white..aahhh! love it
Now this is outdoor beauty in its purest form!
another masterpiece by the Master himself..
Here's wishing each of you..
a beautiful Christmas..
and the Happiest of New Years...
warmest hugs from Colorado!
Merry Christmas everyone!!

Your photos are unbelievably beautiful! I especially love the old red chevy photos, and the lovely red horse. I'm going to attempt a batch of those marshmallows!
ReplyDeleteI love the horse pictures - makes me want to go horseback riding in the snow again. And I'll be making some of those marshmallow/peppermint sticks!! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!!
ReplyDeleteOh Loui, what spectacular images. I want to BE in that picture with the red barn, and also with the horses, and ... well, all of them.
ReplyDeleteProvided I was dressed warmly enough, hahaha!
Merry Christmas, my dear friend!

All these decorations make so much more sense in snow than sitting on green manicured lawns. The bleak snowly landscape just begs to be decorated. So have you make any snow mermaids yet :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Colorado, but it's obviously beautiful! Those pictures are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Get that red Chevy out again, please. I wanna ride!
ReplyDeleteRED HAT
Red hat, I am lonesome.
Red hat, are you free?
Red hat, please consider
Coming home with me.
I need a companion,
One who’ll warm my head;
I think you’ll do nicely,
Hat of brilliant red.
You’re the warmest color,
Not like blue or green—
Red hat at the vendor’s,
Red hat, you’re my queen.
